The Placid Splendor of Socialism

With almost four times the number of violent deaths per-capita as Iraq, and even substantially more than the drug-imperiled Mexico, one has to wonder.  Surely this isn't the selling point Danny Glover and Sean Penn are celebrating in their visits with Venezuela's version of the Dear Leader.

Here you're more likely to find the attention of law enforcement if you're bucking Chavez's ideology than if you're being gunned down in a violent crime (unless said crime is the government silencing your seditious anti-government rhetoric with a boot to the neck.)

So three cheers for the wonder of fascist socialism in action...
